Whichever table you played on, a finished match pays coins and moves your rank: +20 LP for a win, -16 for a loss.
Spades Modes, Answered
- Do games against bots count towards my rank?
- Yes. Every finished match moves your LP the same way — +20 for a win, -16 for a loss — whether the other seats held bots or people.
- How many players does Spades need?
- Four, in two partnerships sitting opposite each other. The modes differ only in how many of those four seats are people: four in the online queue, two in a team match against AI, one when you play the bots.
- Can I play Spades with just one friend?
- Yes. 2v2 Team vs AI puts the two of you on the same side and gives the opposing pair to the bots. A private friends room works too if you would rather set the table up yourself.
- Do I need an account to play Spades here?
- You can open the lobby and look around without one, but starting a match needs an account. It is free and takes a minute with email, Google or Facebook.
- Is there a 1v1 Spades mode?
- Yes, as a game of its own. Spades Duel takes the partnership out and puts you head to head, with its own rules and its own queue.
- Does any of it cost money?
- No. Every mode is free, and a new account starts with 100,000 coins.
